NSC CORPORATION ANNOUNCES SPECIAL CASH DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION TO SHAREHOLDERS

 BOSTON, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- NSC Corporation (NASDAQ: NSCC), today announced the declaration of a special cash dividend distribution of $1.20 per common share, payable Dec. 29, 1993, to shareholders of record on Dec. 15, 1993.
 As previously announced, the board of directors has been exploring the feasibility of establishing a dividend policy. While the board has established no policy concerning payment of regular dividends, it will review annually the feasibility of declaring additional dividends depending upon the results of operations, financial condition and cash needs of the company and other relevant factors.
 NSC Corporation expects that a portion of the special cash dividend will be considered a non-taxable return of capital for federal income tax purposes. Shareholders are advised to consult with their tax advisors regarding the state and local income tax effects of this transaction to them.
 NSC Corporation is an environmental services company, providing asbestos abatement and other related services to a broad range of commercial and industrial clients and governmental agencies throughout the United States. OHM Corporation (NYSE: OHM) and Rust International Inc. (NYSE: RST) each own a 41 percent equity interest in NSC Corporation.
