today announced a suite of integrated training programs designed to work with clients to plan and implement a RoHS Compliance Assurance System (CAS) based on the European RoHS enforcement guidelines. Each training session will evaluate current processes to analyze the level of compliance, identify any gaps, and address how to manage your supply chain for RoHS compliance. NSAI is offering two levels of service, each customized to the client's specific RoHS requirements. Completion of the interactive 10 week course assures that an organization has a compliant process and can demonstrate compliance to the European and China RoHS Guidelines. Our instructors work closely with the organization to review, plan, implement and update the CAS to lay the foundation for the ever changing requirements for RoHS, WEEE WEEE Waste from Electric and Electronic Equipment (directive)

, and other green process initiatives. In addition to the training, NSAI is offering a line item based Bill of Material (BOM) conversion service to assess the level of compliance of products BOM. The service is not limited to only electronic components but it includes Plastics, Metals, Cable Assemblies, PCB's, Finishes and Hardware. We will analyze the BOM and generate a list of Vendor recommended substitutes, when available, and where a component is lacking the supporting documentation to confirm compliance, we will perform XRF Testing on those components and materials.

"NSAI is excited to extend these training sessions as a value added service to further assist clients facing compliance challenges. Helping our customers prepare for the future and demonstrate compliance by utilizing our expertise to implement a RoHS compliance assurance system will lay the foundation necessary for long-term systematic change. With new legislation being introduced at both the global and local levels, the key to adapting is having the infrastructure in place," said Chris Morrell, Vice President at NSAI.
