NSAI Launches RoHS Certificate Program.

NASHUA, N.H. -- NSAI today announced the launch of its RoHS Compliance Assurance System (CAS) Certificate Program developed for organizations wishing to demonstrate, through a third party certification, compliance to the European RoHS directive Enforcement Guidance Document issued in May 2006. Upon successfully completing the assessment process, clients are issued a Certificate of Compliance to use to market and promote their certified manufacturing process.

"What makes this program uniquely different from the "IPC Lead Free" which does not cover all of the band substances or the "IECQ HSPM QC 080000" certificate programs' is that fact that the organization does not necessarily have to be ISO certified to benefit from this certification program. While NSAI offers Management System Certification services, and we also support the IPC, and are authorized to perform third party assessments for the IECQ, we responded to the industry need for a certificate program designed for an organization to demonstrate compliance regardless if they are ISO certified or not." said Chris Morrell Vice President at NSAI.
