 is the first organization to sign on with Canada Canada (kăn`ədə), independent nation (2001 pop. 30,007,094), 3,851,787 sq mi (9,976,128 sq km), N North America. Canada occupies all of North America N of the United States (and E of Alaska) except for Greenland and the French islands of  Revenue Agency's Charities Partnership and Outreach Outreach is an effort by an organization or group to connect its ideas or practices to the efforts of other organizations, groups, specific audiences or the general public.  program.

Under the agreement the Society will educate, inform and raise awareness of registered charities in the Atlantic region with respect to their legal obligations under the Income Tax Act and its regulations.

The program aims to enable selected organizations to create educational programs to support other charities in their efforts to meet their regulatory obligations and support compliance-related education and training projects for charities. The Charities Partnership and Outreach Program is part of the Canada Revenue Agency's efforts to modernize mod·ern·ize
