NRPA providing greater support to citizen-advocates. (Grassroots Advocacy.).


The role of citizens is critical to the future of parks and recreation. In recognition of this important constituency, NRPA NRPA National Recreation and Park Association
NRPA Natural Resources Protective Association (Staten Island, NY)
NRPA Niagara Regional Police Association (Canada)
NRPA National Rifle and Pistol Association
 recently developed the Citizen Development Division. Its primary focus will be to develop and support grassroots Adj. 1. grassroots - fundamental; "the grassroots factor in making the decision"
basic - pertaining to or constituting a base or basis; "a basic fact"; "the basic ingredients"; "basic changes in public opinion occur because of changes in priorities"

Any member of a variety of tribal peoples of southern Myanmar (Burma). Constituting the second largest minority in Myanmar, the Karen are not a unitary group in any ethnic sense, as they differ among themselves linguistically, religiously, and economically.
