EXPOCAD, a computer aided design-based technology for managing all aspects of exposition services, and EXPOCADVR2[TM], the internet version used to put electronic floor plans on the web, greatly improves the communications and delivery of services to our members and exhibitors. The savings in time and dollars for all participants in the process can be measured against the present record of spending almost half of the year implementing a non-technology enhanced process to sell and manage only part of the available floor space.

* Improved booth sales process A sales process is a systematic approach for performing product or service sales. The reasons for having a sales process include seller and buyer risk management, achieving standardized customer interaction in sales and scalable revenue generation.

The current electronic version of Tampa's floor plan is already available on NRPA's website, www.nrpa.org, under the Hot Topic "Tampa Exhibitors Information." This floor plan is updated regularly to display both available and already rented space. Members can use this electronic floor plan to design their own personal itineraries for visiting specific exhibitors in Tampa. Exhibitors will be able to preview the floor plans for the NRPA Congress & Exposition in St. Louis in 2003.
