Authentica, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Digital Rights Management (E-DRM) software, today announced that NRG France, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ricoh  Ltd., has begun delivering its Security-per-Click(TM) document security web service powered by Authentica's PageRecall(TM) software. Security-per-Click allows any business to securely share sensitive documents and control how information is accessed and used after recipients have it.

As part of the Security-per-Click service, PageRecall enables business professionals to protect intellectual property (IP) while managing the following document entitlements:

-- Allowing or disallowing printing

-- Setting document expiration dates 

-- Changing any of these permissions after documents have been

delivered

For example, when viewers are removed from a distribution list, they are no longer able to open and view the document - even after the document has been delivered and stored on their PCs. The Security-per-Click site also allows document owners to track viewing and printing activities by all document recipients.

NRG's Security-per-Click service parallels its existing Pay-per-Page(TM) service offered to French businesses. With Pay-per-Page, NRG integrates printers, photocopiers and multi-functional peripheral devices (MFPs) into businesses. The customers then pay NRG based on the monthly volume of pages printed, copied or faxed.
