NRDC work on Target.


Construction continues on Target at the Hawley Lane Plaza where grand opening celebrations are only five months away.

Scheduled to open in March 2005, the 125,000 s/f freestanding Target store will be joining Hawley Lane's other anchor tenants, Kohl's Department Store and HomeGoods as well as 20 additional stores and restaurants, including Dress Barn, Radio Shack See RadioShack. , Payless ShoeSource Payless ShoeSource is a discount footwear retailer that was founded in 1956 in Topeka, Kansas. Shaol Pozez and his cousin Louis Pozez founded and operated Payless Shoes. In 1961, it became a public company as Volume Shoe Corporation.  and Dunkin' Donuts Sources:

To accommodate the addition of Target, NRDC NRDC Natural Resources Defense Council

NRDC National Realty & Development Corp.
 demolished an adjoining vacant office building to allow for the construction of the store as well as expanded parking fields. An additional entrance road off Hawley Lane leading directly to Target and the upper level of the plaza is also part of the new construction.

Also planned to begin construction shortly is the redevelopment of the 56,000 s/f upper level unit of the plaza.

Target at Hawley Lane Plaza marks the second Target store development in Connecticut by National Realty & Development Corp. Target was the first anchor to open recently at NRDC's 275,000 s/f North Haven North Haven, town (1990 pop. 22,249), New Haven co., S Conn., on the Quinnipiac River; settled c.1650, set off from New Haven 1786. Chiefly residential, it has some manufactures, such as aircraft parts, tools, chemicals, and machinery.  Pavilion.
