NPD reports increase in store makeup sales: prestige beauty sales gain through first half. (News Front).

Lower-priced items fared better than higher-ticket cosmetics. For example, lip gloss, eye shadow and mascara Mascara (măs`kərə, mäs`kärä), town (1998 pop. 80,797), NW Algeria.
