NOWSCO WELL SERVICE LTD. EMPLOYEE KILLED IN HOUSTON

 CALGARY, Alberta, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- An employee of Nowsco Well Service Ltd. was shot and killed in the early hours of the morning, Jan. 7, 1994, in Houston.
 The employee, a resident of Aberdeen, Scotland, was visiting Houston as part of a technical training program on behalf of Nowsco.
 Nowsco's management are shocked and saddened by the event. They wish to protect the privacy of the victim's family and friends and will not be issuing further releases until all details of the incident have been confirmed.
 It should be noted that earlier reports surrounding the circumstances of the shooting have not been confirmed by Houston police.
