NOVELL NETWARE 6 AVAILABLE FOR BETA TESTING.


Novell, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVL NOVL Novell, Inc. (stock abbreviation, AMEX) ), has announced public availability of the Novell NetWare (operating system, networking) Novell NetWare - Novell, Inc.'s proprietary networking operating system for the IBM PC.

NetWare uses the IPX/SPX, NetBEUI or TCP/IP network protocols. It supports MS-DOS, Microsoft Windows, OS/2, Macintosh and Unix clients.

In addition, Novell iPrint makes Internet printing a reality by allowing users to find the right printer, automatically receive the right printer driver if they don't have it already, and securely send the print job to that printer with the click of a mouse. Also included are Novell NDS eDirectory, multiprocessor enablement (up to 32 processors) and server clustering for high availability.
