A week ago, Notre Dame Notre Dame IPA: [nɔtʁ dam] is French for Our Lady, referring to the Virgin Mary. In the United States of America, Notre Dame  was worried about making the Southern Section Division I playoffs. Now the Knights are talking about sharing the Del Rey Del Rey may refer to:

The change of heart came after Notre Dame scored the biggest win in school history - a 17-14 upset of Loyola, which is ranked No. 5 in Division I.

Notre Dame (8-1, 1-1), playing its first - and last - year in Division I, jumped back into the playoff picture and proved it can compete with the best the Southern Section has to offer. It would be tough to find anyone who thought that was the case at the beginning of the season.

``We stepped up when we needed to step up,'' said Knights' defensive tackle Travis Johnson Travis Johnson (born April 26, 1982 in Sherman Oaks, California) is an American football defensive tackle for the Houston Texans of the NFL. Notre Dame ends the regular season next week against St. John Boscoe. A win would tie the Knights for second place. If Loyola (8-1, 1-1) beats Bishop Amat and Notre Dame wins, the Knights will tied for the league title. Amazingly, Loyola could miss getting a guaranteed playoff spot with a loss next week and a Notre Dame win.
