The house where the company is shooting has been outfitted with ramps for Reeve's wheelchair, and he reportedly is getting to the second floor via hydraulic lift, through a window.

Fuentes cites a movie that would have had her playing ``a Mexican maid who teaches a 16-year-old boy all about sex'' as an example. ``I find it very special when someone comes up and says they consider me a role model, and I don't want to spoil that. And truthfully, I'm very happy working in television - good or bad, and I've done both,'' she laughs.

Among the irons Fuentes currently has in the fire is a sitcom development deal. She notes, ``I'd be much more comfortable acting like a total idiot in a cheesy cheesy (che´ze) caseous.  comedy than I would be showing my breasts.''

The inside track: Saxophonist Dave MacMurray says he has legendary jazz pianist Bob James to thank for his new Warner Bros. record deal. James became a fan of MacMurray's when the sax man toured with Bob's band last year, and brought him to the label's attention. MacMurray's new Warner Bros. CD, ``The Dave MacMurray Show,'' combines hip-hop, r&b and jazz. MacMurray is also featured on Nancy Wilson's upcoming album. ``It's her 30th year in the business, and her label, Capitol Records, is going all out for it,'' he says.

No down time for him: Thank goodness for the electronic age. Big-screen tough guy Robert Davi (``Die Hard,'' ``License to Kill'') is up to his eyebrows with work on his new ``Profiler'' NBC series. Still, he's been able to continue developing the script for the feature film project with which he intends to make his directing debut in Monte Carlo next year, thanks to the wonders of intercontinental fax and phone. Davi's movie project is called ``Easy Come, Easy Go.'' It's a behind-the-scenes look at gambling scams. He intends to go into production on the film next spring or summer, ``depending on whether `Profiler' gets picked up for the back nine episodes.''
