NOTES: WRESTLING EXTRAVAGANZA SLATED SATURDAY AT MOORPARK COLLEGE.Byline: Darnell Felton Daily News Staff Writer The Moorpark College wrestling team, under the direction of coach Paul Keysaw, is holding a one-day wrestling camp on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Moorpark gymnasium. Assistant coach Trevor Clockerty and returning wrestlers are coaching along with Keysaw. Three of the returners are All-Americans - Juan Roman (126 pounds), who placed third in the state; Scott Erickson (150), a second-place state finisher; and state champion Chuck Sandlin (177). Little League: Winterball Registration for Simi Valley Little League takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Little League fields located on Royal Avenue at Darrah Street in Simi Valley. Registration also takes place on Aug. 15 and 22. The Winterball season is scheduled to begin Sept. 12. Registration fee is $50. Baseball: The Lu Dawg Baseball Camps, directed by Cal Lutheran University coach Marty Slimak, are under way at CLU in Thousand Oaks. Each session will run on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The next sessions take place next Monday through Friday and Aug. 17-21. The camp is for youths ages 6-16.
