A weeklong tennis camp for boys and girls boys and girls

 ages 8-14 at Triunfo Community Park in Westlake Village is being sponsored by the Conejo Recreation and Park District Sports Office.

The camp is from 9 a.m. to noon during spring break, April 6-10.

The cost is $75 for district residents and $90 for those who live outside the district.

Mail-in registrations are accepted from Feb. 24-March 14, with late registration starting March 23.

Formulakers II and Gym Rats are tied for second at 4-1, with Six Shooter fourth at 3-2.

The Warriors are fifth at 2-3, with Hoop Implosion implosion /im·plo·sion/ (im-plo´zhun) see flooding.

Each team plays a minimum of 12 games. Qualifying teams compete in the district playoffs following the league season.

The league starts March 13. Games are played at Thousand Oaks Thousand Oaks, residential city (1990 pop. 104,352), Ventura co., S Calif., in a farm area; inc. 1964. Avocados, citrus, vegetables, strawberries, and nursery products are grown.  Community Park, Peppertree Playfield, Borchard Community Park and North Ranch Playfield.

Out-of-district teams may register during the walk-in registration now underway.

Cost for out-of-district teams is $344 for men's Sunday league Sunday League may refer to:

  • The Sunday League, the precursor tournament to the National League in English cricket.
; all others cost $475.

Little League: Simi Valley Little League is holding tryouts for all senior-division players ages 13-15 at the fields on Royal Avenue at Darrah Street in Simi Valley.

Because of the rain last weekend, tryouts were rescheduled for Saturday from 1-3 p.m.

Also, all senior players may register during these tryouts. Managers are needed for the senior and minor teams.
