A weeklong tennis camp for boys and girls ages 8-14 at Triunfo Community Park in Westlake Village is being sponsored by the Conejo Recreation and Park District Sports Office.

The camp is from 9 a.m. to noon during spring break, April 6-10.

The cost is $75 for district residents and $90 for those who live outside the district.

Mail-in registrations are accepted from Feb. 24-March 14, with late registration starting March 23.

Basketball: High Octane leads the Wednesday B Division of the Conejo Recreation and Park District winter basketball league with a 5-0 record.

Randy Tars is second at 4-1, with One Too Many and Formulakers III tied for third at 2-3.

Above N' Beyond and Crother's Brothers are tied for last at 1-4.

The Clinic leads the Monday C Division with a 5-0 record.

Formulakers II and Gym Rats are tied for second at 4-1, with Six Shooter fourth at 3-2.

The Warriors are fifth at 2-3, with Hoop Implosion and The Wrecking Crew tied for sixth at 1-4. Storm is last at 0-5.

Courtesy Chevrolet and Dean Witter T.O. are tied for first place in the Tuesday D Division with a 5-0 record. Formulakers is second at 4-1.

CCTO Bricks are third at 3-2, with Big Ballers, VooDoo Posse and Inclusion Bodies tied for fourth at 2-3.

Renegades and Amgen are tied for last at 1-4.

Softball: The Conejo Recreation and Park district office is accepting applications for the adult spring/summer softball leagues.

Divisions offered are men's open, women's open and weeknight coed and masters, men's church, men's Sunday, women's Sunday and Sunday coed. All leagues are slo pitch.

Each team plays a minimum of 12 games. Qualifying teams compete in the district playoffs following the league season.

The league starts March 13. Games are played at Thousand Oaks Community Park, Peppertree Playfield, Borchard Community Park and North Ranch Playfield.

Out-of-district teams may register during the walk-in registration now underway.

Cost for out-of-district teams is $344 for men's Sunday league; all others cost $475.

Little League: Simi Valley Little League is holding tryouts for all senior-division players ages 13-15 at the fields on Royal Avenue at Darrah Street in Simi Valley.

Because of the rain last weekend, tryouts were rescheduled for Saturday from 1-3 p.m.

Also, all senior players may register during these tryouts. Managers are needed for the senior and minor teams.
