NOTES: SOFTBALL TEAM TO HOLD TRYOUTS.

The Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Soccer: Kalifornia Indoor Soccer
This article is primarily regarding indoor soccer as played in North America. Indoor soccer may also be used as a generic term for versions of football (soccer) played indoors; see futsal and five-a-side football for similar games.
 stadiums is now offering free instructional soccer clinics for adult women and also children ages 5 to 8.

The clinics are one hour and will include quality instruction of basic skills.

Registration: The Conejo Recreation and Park District Sports Office will hold registration for their Winter recreation activities. Mail-in registration is Dec. 15-Jan. 2. Late registration is conducted at Crowley House in Thousand Oaks Thousand Oaks, residential city (1990 pop. 104,352), Ventura co., S Calif., in a farm area; inc. 1964. Avocados, citrus, vegetables, strawberries, and nursery products are grown.  starting Jan. 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The following activities are offered: beginning golf, Red Cross swim instruction, adult sports leagues and tennis.

Swimming: Conejo Simi Aquatics is holding tryouts and registration for the fall session at 5 p.m. on Mondays at the Thousand Oaks High pool on Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks, and at Rancho Simi Rancho San José de Nuestra Senora de Altagarcia y Simi is one of the land grants in California by the Spanish government. The name derives from Shimiji, the name of the Chumash village here before the Spanish.  Community pool on Royal Avenue in Simi Valley.
