Little League is holding registration beginning today and Sunday at the fields on Royal Avenue at Darrah Street in Simi Valley. Registration is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Registration will continue every Saturday and Sunday in January rain or shine. Tryouts for all players ages 7-12 will be Jan. 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors division tryouts (ages 13-15) are scheduled for Feb. 7 and 8. EV Free No. 3 is fourth with a 3-6-2 record. Holy Trinity Lutheran is last at 2-8. Softball: The Ballistic, a 14-and-under girls' fast-pitch softball team based in Simi Valley, will hold open tryouts for the 1998 spring season soon. A date has not been set.
