NOTES: SANTA CLARITA BASKETBALL CAMP TO HOLD SESSIONS AT CANYONS.

The Santa Clarita Basketball Camp is scheduled for June 22 to July 31 at College of the Canyons.

The camp is in three sessions. The first session is June 22-26, session two is from June 29 to July 1 and the last session is July 27-31. The camp will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.

The fee for the first and third sessions is $150; the second session is $100.

The camp is for youths ages 6 through 16.

Hockey: The Santa Clarita Roller Hockey Center is holding a youth and adult goalie clinic every Sunday during the month of June.

Soccer: Santa Clarita Elite soccer club is looking for a goalkeeper for their 13-and-under team.

Interested goalkeepers may call (805) 251-9155 for information.

Soccer: The Phoenix, an under-14 boys' soccer team, is looking for players for the 1998-99 season.

The team is affiliated with Valley United Soccer Club but practices exclusively in Santa Clarita.

Tryouts may be arranged on an individual basis.

Players must be born on or after Aug. 1, 1984.

The team is trained by Timo Scheuneman and coached by Steve Nathanson.

Football: The Canyon Country Youth Football League has joined the Pacific League. Because Canyon Country is joining the league, players will be limited to boundaries, including all of Canyon Country and the east side of Saugus.

The final signup day for football (space limited) will be held 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 13 during a barbecue near the football fields at Canyon High School.
