The Castaic/Santa Clarita Valley Cougars football team is holding signups on April 4 at Primo's Pizza on Soldedad Canyon Road from noon to 3 p.m.

The cost is $135. The fee pays for trophies, pictures and banquet.

The Cougars play in the Valley Conference. Home games are at Valencia High.

Soccer: The Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  Elite soccer team is holding open tryouts for the following age groups from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Placerita Junior High: Girls' and boys' under-11 (born after July 31, 1987), girls' under-12 (after 1986) and boys' under-14 (after 1984).

Hockey played on a hard surface in which two opposing teams of roller skaters, using curved sticks, try to drive a ball into the opponents' goal.
 Clinic is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 28.

The cost is $40. Participants are urged to sign up now to reserve a spot.

Football: The Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  Athletic Association's Warriors football program is holding signups for its 34th football season.

The program is accepting applications for players ages 8 to 14 and cheerleaders ages 7 to 14.

Soccer: The Exiles Soccer Club, a boys' under-15 team, is holding tryouts this week.

Participants must be born after July 1983.

Roller Hockey: The Youth Roller Hockey spring season is under way. Space is available in most divisions.

The adult spring season signups begin Sunday, with the season to begin April 19.

A new women's league Women's League (in Swedish: Kvinnoligan) was a feminist organization in Sweden, based in Lund. It was founded in 1970. It consisted of autonomous basis units. Its policies were largely similar to Grupp 8.

The organization was dissolved in 1973.
 begins April 25.

There will be weekly youth clinics for all ages and skill levels.
