NOTES: BREEZE TO HOLD SOFTBALL TRYOUTS.

The Valley Breeze, a 16-and-under fast-pitch traveling softball softball, variant of baseball played with a larger ball on a smaller field. Invented (1888) in Chicago as an indoor game, it was at various times called indoor baseball, mush ball, playground ball, kitten ball, and, because it was also played by women, ladies'  team, will hold tryouts Sunday.

Wrestling wrestling, sport in which two unarmed opponents grapple with one another. The object is to secure a fall, i.e., cause the opponent to lose balance and fall to the floor, and ultimately to pin the supine opponent's shoulders to the floor, through the use of body : The Simi wrestling club, for boys and girls boys and girls

The practices are held Mondays and Wednesdays at Valley View High at 5:30 p.m.

The fee is $75 per wrestler per year, which includes a T-shirt, wrestling card and insurance.

Golf: The San Buenaventura
"San Buenaventura" is also the official name of the city in Southern California, United States, normally referred to as Ventura, California. It can also refer to Mission San Buenaventura.
 Pro-Am Junior Championship will be held Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The tournament will involve two of Ventura's finest golf courses, Buenaventura and Olivia Park.

Michael Wagner, owner of Andria's Seafood Restaurant and Fish Market, is sponsoring the event for the 11th year.

 tennis camp for boys and girls ages 8-14 will be held at Triunfo Community Park in Westlake Village from April 6-10.

The camp, sponsored by the Conejo Recreation and Park District Sports Office, is from 9 a.m. to noon.

The cost is $75 for district residents and $90 for those who live outside the district.

Mail-in registrations will be accepted through Saturday, with late registration starting Monday.
