NOTES: BENAVIDEZ IS DISMISSED, LINDBERG NEW HART COACH.Byline: Daily News Ron Lindberg, a former Canyon High boys' soccer player, has been named the new coach at Hart. Lindberg replaces Robert Benavidez, who was dismissed because he wasn't an on-site teacher. ``It's not by my choice,'' said Benavidez, who was with the program for 17 years, first as a player, assistant coach and head coach. ``The decision was made by the administration. They prefer an on-campus coach.'' Benavidez has sought a teaching position at Hart for years (he teaches at a middle school in Sylmar). Benavidez graduated Hart in 1984 after spending three varsity seasons as a goalie, winning all-league honors his senior year. Hart won Foothill League titles in 1982-83 and 1983-84.
