It is played annually in February in Pacific Palisades, California.  when he got the news that some would call good and others frightening.

(one of the directors) and he said, 'You're in.' I said, 'You've got to be kidding me.' I was all excited and I birdied 17, and I had a chance on 18. But it's a chance for being 64th and having the opportunity to play Tiger, and how could you not relish a chance to play with the best player in the world?"

Henry shouldn't have the customary nerves that come with playing Woods since he has spent time with him as a member of the Ryder Cup team. Woods took all four of the Ryder Cup rookies out to dinner and Henry was one of them.

Woods is no lock to win in match-play events. He lost in a first-round match to Shaun Micheel at the World Match Play Championship last year.

"I'm looking forward to it," Henry said. "This will be my first chance to play in a world match-play event. So to get an opportunity to play, and then of course to play against Tiger, is something that, win or lose, I'm going to have a lot of fun."

Kim lights it up: Anthony Kim worked a hot putter and shot a final-round 64 at the Nissan to finish in a tie for ninth. It's his second top-10 finish in seven events on the PGA Tour. Kim, the youngest player on tour at 21, finished at 8 under for the tournament, eight shots behind Phil Mickelson and Charles Howell III Charles Gordon Howell III (born June 20, 1979) is an American golfer.

Howell was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, the home town of the Masters Tournament. He was a member of Augusta Country Club, which is adjacent to Amen Corner at Augusta National Golf Club.
, who won in a three-hole playoff.

Kim, who grew up in Studio City, lost his passport, so he's not sure if he'll be able to play in this week's Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun in Mexico.

Ernie improving: Ernie Els tied for third, three shots back, along with Robert Allenby and Jim Furyk. Els started the day with a hot streak, going 4 under on the front nine despite missing a short birdie putt on the ninth.

"I was really good at times, and then when I missed it, I was pretty bad," Els said. "I got the ball up and down numerous times, and that's all I'll say. Looking at everything, I think the tournament I played was pretty good, the way I hit it."
