 NORWEST BANK MINNESOTA DROPS BASE RATE TO 6.5 PERCENT
 MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Norwest Bank Minnesota lowered


its base rate to 6.5 percent from 7.00 percent, effective today. The rate was last changed on Dec. 20, 1991, when it was lowered to 7.00 percent from 7.5 percent.
