NORFED Introduces a New Legal Currency Backed by Pure Silver to an Enthusiastic Reception Nationwide.

EVANSVILLE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 1998--Silver is back!

NORFED NORFED National Organization for the Repeal of the Federal Reserve Act and Internal Revenue Code , National Organization for the Repeal of the Federal Reserve Act, introduced an alternative currency backed by pure silver recently at its headquarters in the heartland of America, Evansville. The currency, American Liberty Currency, is one of the hottest collectibles this year and an evolution returning the United States to a currency backed by silver, rather than national debt.

Not long ago, the government supported a national currency with a redeemable commodity; NORFED's new currency will bring this back.

The new currency, ornately designed with silver foiled on high-quality paper, radiates the true meaning of America. Microscopically printed in the borders of the dollars are the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.

Each denomination is uniquely colored blue, purple and brown Purple and Brown is a claymation short on Nicktoons Network. The story is about two clay blobs, one purple and the other brown, friends who get caught in ridiculous situations. Despite any given predicament, the duo can never help but giggle with a low, recognizable laugh. . A hologram See holographic storage.  in the lower left and a special DNA DNA: see nucleic acid.

When introduced to American Liberty Currency, Rick Heise, a computer consultant in California, excitedly exclaimed: "Someone has finally come out with a currency that has actual value. Thank God!"

More than 40 communities in the United States are currently issuing their own local currencies, creating self-reliance and freedom from the government's unprotected financial system. These communities' monetary systems are supported by quality work and faith in the American people, not by a Congress that utilizes the system to perpetuate a large national debt.
