Apparently, Hideo Nomo Hideo Nomo

(born Aug. 31, 1968 , Osaka, Japan) Japanese baseball pitcher whose success with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1995 created new opportunities for Asian players in Major League Baseball.
has a strong interest in the All-American pastime of collecting baseball cards.

So intense, in fact, that he has turned on the sizable Japanese media contingent here to his hobby. A carload carload

One reporter actually interrupted Nomo's sacred pregame routine - cuddling up to his headphones Head-mounted speakers.
