NOLAN PULLS OUT OF COUNCIL RACE.

City Council candidate Bob Nolan withdrew Tuesday from the April 14 election, citing other obligations.

Nolan's name, however, will appear on the city ballot because the state Elections Code requires candidates to withdraw by the final filing date, said City Clerk In the United States, a City Clerk is an elected or appointed official who is responsible as the official keeper of the municipal records. In some places, the Clerk may be known as the "Village Clerk" or "Town Clerk".  Sharon Dawson.

Nolan was among 17 original candidates seeking three of the open seats on the five-member council. Two other candidates were disqualified dis·qual·i·fy

Still in the running are Kent Carlson Kent Carlson (born January 11, 1962 in Concord, New Hampshire) is a retired American ice hockey defenceman.

Drafted in 1982 by the Montreal Canadiens, Carlson, also played for the St. Louis Blues, and Washington Capitals.
