The company plans to build 299 apartments, with the commercial space on the ground floor of each building. JSM recently closed escrow on the last of three parcels with a combined purchase price of more than $3.3 million. The company will build the Imperia Imperia (ēmpĕ`rēä), city (1991 pop. 40,708), capital of Imperia prov., Liguria, NW Italy, on the Ligurian Sea. Located on the Italian Riviera, it is a port and winter resort. The cathedral (1780–1832) dominates the modern city. This project will feature 103 apartment units and 3,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. That will be the site of The Milano Apartments, which will include 196 units and 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The company did not return calls seeking comment.
