North Hollywood High

Hollywood High is a creative writing game released in 1996 by Theatrix Ineractive.
 School's team made a strong showing over the weekend against teams from across the nation, putting them in contention for the Department of Energy's Science Bowl championship today.

``The students are all very excited,'' said North Hollywood Coach Len Soloff from the competition in Washington, D.C. ``They're really self-motivating.''

The team is in the top 12 going into today's final competition, and one of only four undefeated teams, Soloff said.

North Hollywood has traditionally been a leader in the Science Bowl competition and placed fourth in the nation last year.

Former teacher Koh Ikeda coached the team to three straight regional championships and two national runner-up titles.

Ikeda moved to an administrative job with the Los Angeles Unified School District The Los Angeles Unified School District (the "LAUSD") is the largest (in terms of number of students) public school system in California and the second-largest in the United States. Only the New York City Department of Education has a larger student population.  last year, and Advanced Placement science teacher Len Soloff took over as science bowl coach.

This year's North Hollywood team members are Jeff Zira, David Lee, Daniel Bersohn, Jeanne Shen Shen, in the Bible, place, perhaps close to Bethel, near which Samuel set up the stone Ebenezer.  and Julia Hu.
