NOEVIR Confirms That Tibetan Plant Worm Can Regulate Cholesterol Metabolism.Tokyo, Japan, Aug 18, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - NOEVIR announced on August 18 that it has identified a unique property of cordyceps sinensis Cordyceps sinensis (kōrˑ·di·seps si·nenˑ·sis), n saccardo, a plant worm native to Tibet. In its recent experiments using rats and human white adipocytes, the company confirmed that extracts of the plant worm can promote the production of adiponectin, a kind of protein that helps promote fat-burning activities and inhibit the development of lifestyle-related diseases.
