It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672. Man and Woman of the Year. These honors are bestowed on two persons each year who have given the most in voluntary efforts to the Santa Clarita Valley. The awarding of these titles goes back 43 years. Judging for these awards will be done by a committee made up of previous winners, and a selection will be made from the nominations. To designate or appoint to an office, responsibility, or honor. up to two candidates. The nominees and their organizations will be announced in March at a reception for the candidates. The 2007 SCV Man and Woman of the Year will be officially named May 4 at the Man and Woman of the Year dinner at the Hyatt Valencia.
