The stretch run for The Master's baseball team is here.

And what a long run it will be for the Mustangs.

The Master's finishes the regular season this week, playing five straight games before heading into the NAIA Far West sub-regional. The Mustangs open at home with Claremont today at 3 p.m., then travel to Santa Barbara to face Westmont on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

The final three are at Reese Field. Biola visits Thursday (3 p.m.), then California Christian College closes out the Mustangs' homestand Friday (3 p.m..) and Saturday (noon).

Coming into the week, The Master's was ranked No. 11 in the NAIA top 25 polls.

Moving closer to a title: Hart's baseball team, the defending Foothill League champion, will try to move close to another league crown this week with a home-and-home against Saugus.

The Indianstravel to Saugus today, then host the Centurions on Friday. Both games begin at 3:15 p.m. Hart swept its season series last year with Saugus, winning 23-0 and 8-2.

Crucial match: Canyon, undefeated in the Foothill League, can capture the volleyball title Friday with a win over host Valencia at 4:45 p.m.
