 NISI AWARDED MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR
 PAN AM EQUIPMENT LIQUIDATION CONTRACT
ST. LOUIS, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- St. Louis-based National Industrial Services, Inc. (NISI) has been awarded the consulting and asset sales management contract for disposal of Pan American World Airways, Inc. aviation support equipment, with a replacement value of more than $100 million, it was announced today by NISI President, Stuart B. Millner.
The equipment, to be sold at a major 6-day auction with attendees expected throughout the world, beginning Oct. 19-24 at JFK International Airport, New York includes: ground support equipment, avionics and hydraulic test equipment, Boeing 727 and 747 jet engines and tooling, general machining tools and fabricating equipment. Explaining the basis on which his company was selected to handle a sale of this magnitude, Millner quotes from the petition to the Federal Bankruptcy Court in the New York area, in which Pan Am creditors state the belief that, "...NISI is best qualified and uniquely able to maximize the return from the sale of the assets."
NISI is a leading U.S. industrial asset management company, with specialized expertise in helping companies recover maximum asset value from plant closings and terminated operations through their exclusive program Total Plant Deactivation(SM) (TPD). According to Millner, NISI's TPD(SM) services include: appraisals; environmental control evaluation; negotiated liquidation; auction sales management; remarketing of work-in-process, finished goods and raw materials; sale of specialized machinery; recoverable metals and electrical components; industrial and commercial real estate sales; and risk management programs. "Our services are available individually or as a complete turn-key disposal package. TPD(SM) equals a clean plant, wall-to- wall....floor-to-ceiling." Millner adds.
