NIRI Atlanta to Host Second-Annual CFO Roundtable.
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 2004
The Atlanta chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) will host its second-annual CFO roundtable this Friday, March 12, 2004. The panel discussion will include CFOs from area companies, including Tom Fanning from Southern Company, Jim Matthews from Georgia Gulf Corporation, and Chet Popkowski from National Service Industries. The discussion will focus on the rapidly changing financial and investor relations environments, increased regulatory scrutiny and constant pressure for companies to perform.
This topic is a continuation of NIRI Atlanta's yearly theme entitled, "What's It Going to Take" to get the investment community and corporate America focused on the long term and away from meeting or beating quarterly Wall Street estimates.
The event will be held at Maggiano's restaurant in Buckhead. Registration will begin at 7:00 AM and the program will be start promptly at 7:30 AM and adjourn at 8:30 AM. To attend this event, please RSVP by Wednesday, March 10, 2004. Cost is $40 for NIRI-Atlanta members and $50 for non-members.
