 NIELSEN WINS EXPANDED ALLIANCE WITH NESTLE USA
 CHICAGO, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Nielsen Marketing Research-USA


announced today that Nestle USA has agreed to renew and expand its corporate strategic alliance with Nielsen.
 Nielsen will provide marketing information and analysis to Nestle's corporate divisions to assist it in consolidating its marketing research efforts and making more effective business decisions. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
 In 1991 Nestle's 15 food and beverage companies in the United States were restructured into six business units, aligned by products or services. The new consolidated company was named Nestle USA, Inc. with U.S. sales in excess of $7 billion and more than 43,000 employees.
 Familiar Nestle products include: Nestle Quik, Hills Bros. coffee, Taster's Choice instant coffee, Carnation Coffee-mate, Contadina tomato products, Mighty Dog canned dog food, Friskies and Fancy Feast cat foods, Stouffer's Lean Cuisine, Nestle Crunch candy bars, and Toll House Morsels.
