NICT to Launch the World's Fastest and Highest Density Optical Modulator.

) today announced its launch of a high speed optical modulator for light network.

The optical modulator boasts a signal speed of over 100Gb/s DQPSK DQPSK Differential Quadrature Phase Shift Keying
DQPSK Differential Quaternary Phase Shift Keying
. According to the feasibility test results, the optical modulator achieved the world record-breaking 12.3Tb/s for C band light fiber data transmission, and with a frequency efficiency of 3.2b/s/Hz achieved the long distance record of 2,000km with transmission speed of over 100Gb/s.
