 NICK BOLTON ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FROM WBRC-TV
 CINCINNATI, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- L.D. (Nick) Bolton today


announced his intention to retire as president and general manager of WBRC-TV on March 1, 1992.
 In making the announcement, Bolton said, "I have marked my 30th anniversary with this company and I am pleased with WBRC's continued success in serving the viewers and advertisers of Northern Alabama. I am looking forward to being able to devote more time and attention to other interests."
 John Zanotti, president of Great American Broadcasting Company's television group said, "Anyone who knows Nick does not need to be told how much we will miss him. He is an outstanding manager and has been a tough competitor. On top of that, he is a great entertainer and has been a natural leader within our company."
 Bolton joined Taft Broadcasting, the predecessor to Great American Broadcasting, in 1962 as general manager at WKRC radio, Cincinnati. He spent 10 years in Kansas City for Taft, as vice president and general manager of WDAF radio from 1964-68 and as vice president and general manger of WDAF-TV from 1969-1974. He was named vice president and general manager of WBRC-TV in 1974. In 1980, Bolton was named vice president and general manager of WKRC-TV, Cincinnati. He returned to WBRC-TV as vice president and general manager in 1982. Bolton was named president and general manager of WBRC-TV in December, 1991.
 Bolton was a member of the board of governors of the ABC Television Affiliates Association from 1984 to 1988. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the Alabama Broadcasters Association.
 Bolton attended The Citadel and earned his bachelor of arts degree at Emory University in 1948. He served in Europe in World War II as a sergeant in the U.S. Armored Field Artillery. He and his wife, Barbara, have five children.
 In addition to WBRC-TV, Great American Broadcasting Company owns five other network affiliated telelvision stations: WTSP, Tampa-St. Petersburg; WKRC-TV, Cincinnati; WDAF-TV, Kansas City; KTSP-TV, Phoenix and WGHP-TV, Greensboro-High Point. Great American also owns 12 FM and six AM radio stations in the nation's top fifty markets.
 Great American Broadcasting Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Great American Communications Company (NASDAQ: GACC) (GACC). GACC's Common stock trades over-the-counter under the symbol GACC.
