NICEIC chooses Clik software.NICEIC NICEIC National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (UK) Group has appointed specialist software developer Clik Ltd to create a software tool to enable electricians to complete BS7671 electrical installation certificates and periodic inspection reports on their computers, rather than by hand. Currently electricians purchase packs of certificates from NICEIC which are then completed by hand and given to their customer as a declaration on the compliance or condition of the electrical installation or periodic inspection work which has been carried out. The new software tool aims to make the process of completing the certificates quicker, simpler and more efficient. It will modernise the long-standing method of the certificates being hand-written. The software will allow electrical contractors to purchase blocks of certificate numbers which can then be used on the certificate templates which are stored in the software. Other features planned for the software include dropdown boxes which will allow for speedier completion of the certificates, as well as a customer database which will let contractors store site and equipment information relating to relating to relate prep → concernant relating to relate prep → bezüglich +gen, mit Bezug auf +acc their customers.
