NICE is Awarded Five Million Dollar Contract for its CDFS 5000 Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance System.

NICE Systems (Nasdaq:NICE), a worldwide leader of multimedia recording solutions, applications and related professional services (job) professional services - A department of a supplier providing consultancy and programming manpower for the supplier's products.  for business interaction management, announced today that it has won a five million dollar contract for CDFS (CD-ROM File System) The file system that handles CD-ROMs in 32-bit versions of Windows, starting with Windows 95. CDFS uses the Windows Vcache disk cache to buffer data from the CD-ROM in memory to speed up retrieval. CDFS replaced the earlier 16-bit MSCDEX.  5000, its intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance system.
