Professional Development for the Independent Piano Teacher Award, worth $1,000, established in honor of this past NFMC national president. This award will be given annually to provide financial assistance to an independent piano teacher who demonstrates superior teaching in the private studio and wishes to further enhance teaching skills. To be eligible, applicants must be a senior special member or federated Connected and treated as one.
