Artest gained reputation as one of the premier defenders in the game today, winning the NBA Defensive Player of the Year  jerseys Tuesday in a nod to the embattled Pacers player.

If the Colts were worried about more trouble Thursday in Detroit, they weren't discussing it.

``It's different,'' Doss said. ``In football, the fans are not as close. We'll probably see more reaction when the Pistons come here Christmas Day.''
