KLAA-AM adds Glenn Beck show

CNN Headline News host Glenn Beck is about to be heard on your radio.

The two-hour weekday ``Glenn Beck Program'' will debut on area talk station KLAA-AM (830) at 7 a.m. Monday.

The addition of Beck to mornings signals a change at the Orange County station, which has previously been primarily a Spanish-language outlet. The station will continue to air Los Angeles Angels games in Spanish. KLAA is partly owned by Arte Moreno, who owns the Angels.

McPhee performs with broken foot

Katharine McPhee's bad-luck tour continued this week when the ``American Idol'' runner-up fractured her left foot Thursday backstage in Charlotte, N.C.

The Sherman Oaks warbler, who finally joined the ``American Idols Live'' road show last week after missing the first few weeks because of bronchitis and laryngitis, managed to hobble on stage with the broken foot, and sang two songs before she went to the hospital.

``She doesn't want anyone to make a big deal about it at all,'' said Peisha McPhee, Kat's mom. ``It was dark and she tripped. I guess every move she makes, people are watching.''

X-rays showed a hairline fracture in the singer's left foot. A representative said McPhee, 22, would remain on the ``Idols'' tour, which will come to Staples Center on Aug. 26 and the Anaheim Pond the following night.
