The main restriction is that Lewinsky cannot go beyond what she has said in her numerous interviews with prosecutors and in her grand jury testimony, said the sources, all speaking on condition of anonymity. All of those interview summaries and testimony from her two grand jury appearances and her sworn deposition in Starr's offices already are on the public record.

Stringfield said she would not do any guest shots on the show because its producers prevented her from doing TV for the remainder of her contract, which hadn't expired when she bolted. ``It did bug me,'' she said. ``They thought I was going to make them look bad by getting my own show.''

Supermodel shares tales of fast living

Kate Moss, the supermodel who relaunched the waif look, has set the modeling world on its pretty ear by revealing her drug- and booze-filled days on the runway. Moss told a British paper that she had not walked down a catwalk without being boozed to the gills for the past decade. Moss told The Face, the bible of British fashion, that she has lived on a diet of drugs and champagne. Moss said her drinking often started in the early hours, and she frequently smoked pot with other models. ``That's what you do. You just kind of have champagne. You always have champagne before shows. Always. Even at 10 in the morning. It got to the point one time when we said, We're not going out without any champagne. Terrible.''

Moss said ``things got out of control'' on the international modeling circuit. ``In France and London, we're allowed to smoke pot all day,'' she told the magazine.

Ballet honor leaves singer Lovett giddy

Lyle Lovett is whistling a happy tune over a Boston Ballet performance choreographed to his music.

``Gosh, I'm so excited, I just think it's incredible that they would want to do it,'' Lovett said Wednesday in Boston. ``I've been to the ballet, but I'm not a regular goer to the ballet. That's why this is such a surprise and such an honor.''

The ballet's performance of ``Nine Lives: The Songs of Lyle Lovett,'' opens at the Shubert Theater on Thursday and runs through Feb. 28. The Lovett songs featured include ``Blues Walk,'' ``Nobody Knows Me,'' ``If You Were to Wake Up'' and ``I've Been to Memphis.''

Lovett hopes to attend one of the shows.
