NEWS LITE : IN-CLINED FOR MORE FROM 1961 CONCERT.

``Patsy Cline: Live at the Cimarron Ballroom,'' due out July 29 from MCA Records, is made from tapes found in a house where Cline once lived. The singer was killed in a plane crash in 1963.

The 1961 concert in Tulsa, Okla., was her first show following a near-fatal car accident that left her with a broken wrist, dislocated dis·lo·cate

OK, so she's the envy of millions of women, with her wild tresses and all. But Julia Roberts confesses to being ``sort of a fashion idiot,'' and has vowed to mend her ways.

``I'm beginning to realize you can be comfortable, stylish and, dare I say, pull off a whole sexy thing,'' she tells the good people at In Style magazine. ``I'm a late-blooming clothes fanatic. Malaysian cattle given

reflectors

Cattle in Malaysia are getting their ears pierced.

Red plastic reflectors, like those on bicycles in the United States, are now dangling from the ears of cattle on the resort island of Pulau Langkawi. The ornaments are designed to prevent road accidents at night.

``We feel it is very effective,'' said Ferdaus Mohd Abdullah, manager of a company that makes safety equipment. ``I don't think any one else in the world is offering earrings for cows.''

Mechanization mechanization

Use of machines, either wholly or in part, to replace human or animal labour. Unlike automation, which may not depend at all on a human operator, mechanization requires human participation to provide information or instruction.
in rice fields has left many cattle unemployed and untended. And according to the number of accidents they have caused, cattle appear to like sitting on the roads at night.

Ismail Abu of the Automobile Association thought the earrings were a good start, but only a start.

``That takes care of the front of the cow. But what about the back?''
