Starting this week, vignettes promoting the Fred Savage-led comedy will be shown on the channel, marking the first time NBC has used CNBC to promote its prime-time entertainment programs.

`` `Working' and CNBC are a match made in promo heaven,'' said John Miller, executive vice president of advertising, promotion and event programming for NBC. ``Many of the people watching People watching or crowd watching is a hobby of some people to watch those around them and their interactions. This differs from voyeurism in that it does not relate to sex or sexual gratification.  CNBC are the very people `Working' was meant for - career business people who feel their world has gone a little wacky.''

The sitcom debuted last October and ranks among the top 30 shows in NBC's target audience of 18-to-49-year-old viewers.
