She is portrayed by Julianna Margulies. Career Carol Hathaway is a registered nurse and was the nurse manager of the ER at the beginning of the series. (Julianna Margulies Julianna Luisa Margulies (born June 8, 1966) is an Emmy award winning American actress best known for her role as Nurse Carol Hathaway on the NBC medical drama ER. ) and Dr. Doug Ross (George Clooney) to get back together may have something to look forward to after all. ``I think eventually they (the producers) really want them back together, and I think they should get back together,'' Margulies tells the TV tabloid show ``Extra.'' But don't expect it to happen soon. Margulies said, ``They are going to milk this one for all it's worth, I'm sure.'' At the `Beach': Eddie Cibrian, who currently stars in the syndicated series ``Baywatch Nights,'' has joined the cast of NBC's new daytime drama, ``Sunset Beach.'' He'll take over the role of Cole St. John, replacing Ashley Hamilton. On the move: In their effort to get David Letterman to switch the mythical home office of his CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast. ``Late Show'' to Latrobe, Pa., the Pennsylvania Legislature is about to vote on a resolution spelling out why the late-night host should make the move. Not only that, sources in Harrisburg say Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge has drafted a letter offering to come to New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of and arm-wrestle Letterman for the right to move the home office to Latrobe. The home-office title, of course, gives a city nightly publicity when Letterman reads his Top 10 list. The current home office is Wahoo, Neb., which won the title a few years ago, also after a local legislative push. |
