The two young men approached Wright as she parked her dark green vehicle at about 8 p.m., Marroquin said.

She called police after the teen-agers allegedly sped off in her car. Minutes later, officers spotted the vehicle going north on a nearby street and followed it, Marroquin said. The car was abandoned a few blocks away, and the suspects ran through an apartment complex, Marroquin said.

Suspects were arrested a short time later, Marroquin said.

Wright married Penn, her longtime boyfriend and the father of her two young children, in the back yard of a friend's Santa Monica home last month.
