He came to fame during the 1990s, establishing a Hollywood career as a leading actor.  has called it quits after five seasons with his Fox sitcom. An hourlong farewell episode will run May 1.

``After five years with the series, I feel it's time It's Time was a successful political campaign run by the Australian Labor Party (ALP) under Gough Whitlam at the 1972 election in Australia. Though Fox's announcement presents the decision as Lawrence's, network insiders label it a mutual call. Lawrence's erratic behavior, both on and off the set, has made ``Martin'' a major headache for the network.

Last month, the ``Bad Boys'' star was arrested for allegedly punching out a man who bumped into him on the dance floor of a Hollywood night spot. In July, he was arrested at the Burbank airport after police found a loaded handgun in the suitcase he was taking on a flight to Phoenix.

In the finale, Martin and Gina (Campbell) decide to leave Detroit when they both get fab job offers in L.A.
