Byline: Lane Beauchamp Kansas City Star

A World Wide Web site that just made its debut this week promises ``intoxication from overload, information as food.''

And if STIM STIM Stimulation

STIM Security Through Interaction Modeling
STIM Society to Increase Mobility

Two drawbacks about the site. Apparently in an effort to look hip, the writers threw away a dictionary. They ``welcome U, the youser'' and invite U to ``Meat the Staph staph

Soap box: Like every other awards show, the 23rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards has found a home on the Web.

But unlike most of the other shows, this one is a part of the CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast.  site, the network that's airing the awards. As a result, it leans heavily toward the CBS nominees providing lots of pictures and links for them. Unfortunately, CBS isn't big enough to link to any of the other shows or actors up for the Emmy.

Nevertheless, soap fans will find enough to amuse them for a few minutes, including the ``Lovers & Losers Game'' and a chance to share bogus dialogue for a soap scene with other Web travelers.
