NEW STANDARDS ORGANIZATION.A new organization to monitor standards for regional trade, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM CARICOM: see Caribbean Community and Common Market. ) Regional Organization for Standards and Quality (CROSQ CROSQ CARICOM (Caribbean Community) Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality ) will be established soon, reports CMC (Sept. 2, 2001). It will replace the 28-year-old Caribbean Common Market Standards Council (CCMSC) which held its final annual general meeting at the Jamaica Conference Centre August 27-30.
