The ceremony will take place Friday at an Italian shipyard operated by the company that built the Star, Fincantieri Cantieri Navali Italiani. Along with the traditional breaking of a champagne bottle against the ship, the dockside ceremony will feature Star Princess Cruise Director Paul O'Loughlin as master of ceremonies and will also include a flag-changing service as the ship replaces the Fincantieri flag with that of P&O Princess Cruises, a performance by The Scots Guards
